The senior management
team of the Company has more experience in
the development and operation of family entertainment
centers (FEC’s) than any other operator
in the country, with a combined 47 years of
experience. Since 1971, members of the management
team have been developing family entertainment
centers and to date have developed 18 entertainment
centers across the country, encompassing over
$100 million in asset value.
In July 1998, William and Erik Rameson co-founded
Palace Entertainment through the acquisition
of four independently owned family entertainment
companies, making it the largest family
entertainment center company in the world,
with over $180 Million in assets. Palace
Entertainment has over 9 million annual
visitors to its 38 family entertainment
center facilities and water parks located
across the United States. In the amusement
park category, which includes the likes
of Disney and Universal, Palace Entertainment
ranks as the 7th largest operator of amusement
parks in the world based on attendance.
From July 1998 to January 2001, William Rameson
served as the CEO, Erik Rameson served as
the Vice President of Business Development,
and Allwyn Thomton served as the Director
of Marketing for Palace Entertainment. William
Rameson continued to serve as Chairman of
Palace Entertainment from 2001 to 2002.
Palace Entertainment has made over thirty
eight (38) family entertainment centers
worth more than $300 million worth of assets.
During their time as senior managers of
Palace, this team used their management
expertise to create
a highly cohesive, successful organization
featuring effective personnel and a superior
corporate culture. Over three consecutive
years they drove sales significantly and
improved operating income by 15% each year.
Since 2001, William, Erik Rameson and Allwyn
Thomton founded Newmark Entertainment, which
has developed and operated a 22 acre entertainment
center facility in Austin, TX. This center
contains a 50,000 square foot building consisting
of a full scale pizza buffet-style restaurant,
interactive arcade games, laser tag, a rock
climbing wall, party and event rooms, two
(18-hole) miniature golf courses, two go-karts
tracks, batting cages, bumper boats, and
a kiddie play area. Newmark owns and operates,
Boomers! located in Bakersfield, CA, and
Malibu Castle in Redondo Beach, CA, which
is slated for a major renovation and re-branding
in 2005. Newmark is under development with
an indoor restaurant/ family entertainment
center concept in Mesa, AZ named “Amazing
Jake’s” that contains 80,000
square feet under one roof. This facility
contains a full-scale pizza, pasta, soup,
salad, and dessert bar, as well as an interactive
arcade, laser tag, bumper cars, rock climbing
wall, indoor go-kart track, 12 lanes of
bowling, and amusement rides. The company
plans to open this location for business
in July, 2005. Newmark plans to roll this
concept out nationwide.
